Patrick Galen Dempsey born January 13, 1966 is an American actor, known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd ("McDreamy") on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy. He has also recently appeared in several films, including Sweet Home Alabama, The Emperor's Club, Freedom Writers, Enchanted, Made of Honor, and Valentine's Day. Actor Patrick Dempsey has lived two charming but separate lives on film and TV. From an exuberant, somewhat awkward charmer in college comedy films of the late 1980s and early 1990s, he has morphed spectacularly into a dreamy, wavy-haired TV hunk of the new-age millennium and this seductive new image has since spilled off into romantic lead roles back on the large screen as a slightly offbeat, self-effacing Prince Charming type. Irish-American Patrick Galen Dempsey was born on January 13, 1966, in Lewiston, Maine. The youngest of three, his father, William, an insurance agent, and mother Amanda, a school secretary, raised the children in Buckfield (Maine). Patrick, who was diagnosed as dyslexic (he has to fully memorize his scripts), attended St. Dominic Regional High School but dropped out before graduating. Always interested in entertainment, Patrick Dempsey studied juggling and entered several competitions. Acting was also a natural for him and at age 15 he earned the role of the rebellious son in a Maine production of "On Golden Pond". Two years later he won a prime role as David, the gay teen, in the Harvey Fierstein play "Torch Song Trilogy," spending several months touring the San Francisco area with the show. In between he found supplementary gigs dancing and juggling. More opportunities came his way after winning the protagonist role of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs" that toured in 1984. Directed by the renowned comedy favorite Gene Saks, Dempsey started looking at the possibility of film work. He made his movie debit in the secondary part of a Catholic student in the 1960s-era school-age comedy Heaven Help Us (1985) starring "Brat Pack" actor Andrew McCarthy. More silliness followed with Meatballs III: Summer Job (1987) and a ripe turn in the socially aware TV-movie A Fighting Choice (1986) (TV) in which he played an epileptic teen who sues his parents (Beau Bridges and Karen Valentine) in order to have risky brain surgery. Around the same time he found himself in a TV series entitled "Fast Times" (1986), based on the ultimate school-age flick Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), which made a star out of Sean Penn. Inheriting the Robert Romanus cool guy role of con artist Mike Damone, expectations were far too big and the TV series died a quick death. His movie career got on a faster track, however, and he scored well co-starring with the worldly Beverly D'Angelo in the movie In the Mood (1987), as a young man who makes headlines pursuing older women. Life resembled art that same year when Patrick Dempsey married actress and drama coach Rocky Parker, who played a bit part in the film. He was 21 and she was 48. By this time his trademark cuteness and appeal started taking shape. The youthful 21-year old Patrick Dempsey played a nerd role next in the very funny high school comedy Can't Buy Me Love (1987) with Amanda Peterson.
A movie favorite for many, Patrick Dempsey had reached the peak of his early career popularity. He showed a more serious side in the WWII-era drama In a Shallow Grave (1988), which presented a Cyrano de Bergerac-like storyline with Patrick Dempsey as the Christian de Neuvillette counterpart, but then he went straight back to familiar territory with the college-themed comedies Some Girls (1988) with Jennifer Connelly, Loverboy (1989), and Happy Together (1989/I). Stretching more in the 1990s, Patrick co-starred on stage in a 1991 production of "The Subject Was Roses" (playing the Martin Sheen film role) as the WWII soldier readjusting to civilian life with his parents (Dana Ivey and "Frasier" co-star John Mahoney). Films included the cross-country comedy-drama Coupe de Ville (1990), the action thriller Run (1991), Mobsters (1991), in which he made a stab at playing major Mafioso Meyer Lansky, Face the Music (1993) opposite "Brat Pack" femme Molly Ringwald, the title role in Bank Robber (1993), and the Mark Twain family-geared Ava's Magical Adventure (1998), co-directed by Patrick Dempsey and wife Rocky. The couple, however, divorced that same year. On TV Patrick played a young John Fitzgerald Kennedy in the mini-movie J.F.K.: Reckless Youth (1993) (TV), Pierre Arronax in the TV remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1997/II) (TV), and Raskolnikov in a small screen version of Crime and Punishment (1998) (TV). The rest of the decade on film was less newsworthy with co-starring or featured movie roles in Hugo Pool (1997), Denial (1998/I), There's No Fish Food in Heaven (1998) (aka Life in the Fast Lane) and Me and Will (1999). It was TV that gave Patrick Dempsey a shot in the arm as he progressed into the new millennium. A recurring role as Will's closeted sportscaster amour in the hit sitcom "Will & Grace" (1998) presented Patrick in a more mature, wry and sexier fashion. Another recurring role in "Once and Again" (1999) earned him a dramatic Emmy nomination in 2001as Outstanding Guest Actor, and a third on "The Practice" (1997) was also extremely well-received. While the romantic comedy film Sweet Home Alabama (2002) opposite Reese Witherspoon really nailed the direction Dempsey was headed, the medical series "Grey's Anatomy" (2005), as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd (aka "Dr. McDreamy"), gave distaff audiences the whole heartthrob package. The perfect vehicle to showcase his undeniable charisma and sharp talent for offbeat comedy, he is a two-time Golden Globe nominee and his popularity has absolutely skyrocketed. This reawakening has also swung the door open again on high-profile film offers, registering with the ladies once again in a number of light leading man parts, notably Enchanted (2007) and Made of Honor (2008). Off-camera, Dempsey married a second time in 1999, to make-up artist and Delux Beauty founder Jill Fink. The couple have three children: daughter, Tallulah Fyfe (born 2002), and twin sons Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick (born 2007). An avid sports car racer (he has participated in the Indianapolis and Daytona Beach events), he showed off a more humanitarian side when he started the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing in his hometown of Lewiston after his mother developed ovarian cancer. Befittingly, he has produced a sexy men's fragrance line by Avon called "Unscripted".

Jackie Chan Wallpapers
Jackie Chan, SBS, MBE born Chan Kong-sang, 7 April 1954 is a Hong Kong actor, action choreographer, filmmaker, comedian, director, producer, martial artist, screenwriter, entrepreneur, singer and stunt performer. In his movies, he is known for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, use of improvised weapons, and innovative stunts. Jackie Chan has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in over 100 films. Chan has received stars on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a cultural icon, Chan has been referenced in various pop songs, cartoons, and video games. Chan is also a Cantopop and Mandopop star, having released a number of albums and sung many of the theme songs for the films in which he has starred.
Apprenticed to the China Drama Academy (or "opera school") by his parents at the age of 6, Jackie Chan was rigorously trained in music, dance, and traditional martial arts. A visiting filmmaker offered Jackie Chan his first (tiny) role as a stunt player. Jackie Chan took the part, and soon left the Opera to pursue the world of film. Fellow Opera students Biao Yuen and Sammo Hung Kam-Bo would also have careers in film, and the three would star in several films together in the following years. Jackie Chan's talent and enthusiasm soon saw him taking larger and more important roles, graduating first to stunt coordinator, and then to director. Following the death of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, the search was on for an actor who could inspire audiences to the same degree; every young martial artist was given a chance. Chan decided that rather than emulating Lee (and thus living forever in his shadow), he would develop his own style of filmmaking. His directorial debut The Young Master (1980) was a milestone in martial arts films, being one of the first to effectively combine comedy with action. This set the tone for many of his future films, which combined slapstick humor with high-energy martial arts action. A self-confessed fan of Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, Jackie Chan performs all his own stunts, quite often at his own peril. His later films include outtakes of his on-set injuries run under the closing credits. He is understandably number one on the insurance blacklist.

Kate Bosworth Pictures
Catherine Ann "Kate" Bosworth born January 2, 1983 is an American actress. Bosworth starred in the television series Young Americans, in which she played Bella Banks. She became known with a leading role in 2002's Blue Crush. The following year, Bosworth played the teenage girlfriend of porn star John Holmes in Wonderland opposite Val Kilmer. In 2004, she portrayed Sandra Dee in Kevin Spacey's Beyond the Sea. Bosworth since appeared in several notable films, including Superman Returns (2006), where she played Lois Lane, and 2008's blackjack drama film 21. In 2008, she became both Calvin Klein Jeans newest model and spokeswoman for Coach newest luxury bags.
Unlike the characters Kate Bosworth has portrayed in television and in film which are known as "townies", Kate Bosworth spent most of her childhood in different cities and states. At age 6, she and her parents moved to San Francisco, then to Connecticut at 9, and to Cohasset, Massachusetts, at 14. It was at 14 that Kate Bosworth , a champion equestrian, learned of a casting call for a movie about horses. Although Kate Bosworth attended the open audition in New York for the Robert Redford film The Horse Whisperer (1998) simply in hopes of getting the experience of what it was like to audition for a movie role, she won the role of the female lead's best friend and the chance to work with director/star Robert Redford. Her previous acting experience had consisted of singing at county fairs in California and acting in a community theatre production of "Annie". However, since landing the movie role, Kate seemed to be in more sound stages than ranches. Fearful that an early career would rob her of her childhood, she took 18 months off to live a normal life before opting to plunge into acting again. In 2000, she landed the role of the bratty sister in the feature film The Newcomers (2000) and the part of a football co-captain's girlfriend in the Denzel Washington movie Remember the Titans (2000). Throughout high school, Kate maintained academic excellence and was an honor roll student and a member of National Honor Society. In her spare time, she has volunteered with various non-profit organizations, including a Los Angeles program for physically challenged children who learn to ride horses with assistance.

Mary-Louise Parker Wallpapers
Southern-bred Mary-Louise Parker, from Fort Jackson, South Carolina, was born on August 2, 1964, the youngest of the family's brood. She showed potential in her teens and majored in acting in her college years, graduating from the North Carolina School of the Arts. She decided to test the waters in New York, and after work on the off-Broadway stage in the late 1980s, made her Broadway debut with "Prelude to a Kiss" in 1990, where she won the Theatre World Award, the Clarence Derwent Award and a Tony nomination. Films and TV quickly followed. She provided both poignant and amusing moments as the token femme friend to a group of gay men in the AIDS drama Longtime Companion (1989), but really caught fire with her feisty, standout performance in Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), holding her own against such female powerhouses as Jessica Tandy, Kathy Bates and Mary Stuart Masterson. Dubbed by some as the "long-suffering girl next door", she played such noble miserables and cast-asides in Grand Canyon (1991), Naked in New York (1993), Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), in which she was the AIDS victim this time, and Let the Devil Wear Black (1999). Preferring quality over quantity, she perfected her craft with offbeat roles in independent features and did not abandon her theater roots. She copped a slew of acting prizes for her stage work in "How I Learned to Drive" (1996) and, most notably, "Proof" in 2000, wherein she won nearly every award there is to attain, including the prestigious Tony. Her marquee name still does not command what it should, but a picture or production with Mary-Louise Parker in it usually guarantees a strong critical reception. Unmarried, she did enter into a longtime companionship with actor Billy Crudup after the twosome appeared opposite each other in the 1996 play "Bus Stop". They went their separate ways in 2003.
Jim Carrey Pictures
Jim Carrey was born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada on January 17th, 1962. Anyone who has seen his work can surmise that Carrey has been a performer ever since he was very young. Carrey’s first paid performance work came in the form of stand-up comedy in Toronto, Canada. Carrey made his debut comedy performance at Yuk-Yuk’s as a star was beginning to form. Suffering difficult times in his adolescence and having to work eight hours after school to help his family pay the bills, Carrey eventually dropped out of High School and moved to Los Angeles in 1979. In Los Angeles Carrey landed a spot at The Comedy Store where he was signed for a year by Rodney Dangerfield. Carrey got his first acting break in 1983 playing the role of Bobby Todd in Copper Mountain. Looking to diversify a bit and make some extra cash Carrey worked as a cartoonist in the 1984 animated series The Duck Factory. The show didn’t do well but it gave Carrey some desperately needed confidence to pursue his acting career. Carrey continued through the mid 1980’s taking acting roles where he could get them. In 1985 Carrey played Mark Kendall in the horror/comedy Once Bitten. Jim Carrey followed up this film with the 1986 comedy/drama Peggy Sue Got Married where he played the quirky supporting role of Walter Getz. He was getting a little more screen time and his career was getting a bit more traction. Arguably one of the most important roles Carrey took in the early part of his career was dressing up as the fury alien Wiploc in the corny 1988 comedy Earth Girls are Easy. Although the role gave Carrey another chance to show his abilities at physical comedy the real importance of the role came when he got to work opposite Damon Wayans. Wayans played Wiploc’s sidekick Zeebo and the two had great chemistry. Damon would later consult his brother Keenan Ivory Wayans about bringing Carrey to the sketch comedy show In Living Color which first aired in 1990. It was In Living Color that let Carrey do what he was so good at, making people laugh through physical comedy. The show lasted five seasons in which Carrey performed in 123 episodes wrapping up in 1994 which ended up being the best year in Carrey’s career.
In February of 1994 Jim Carrey released the hit comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. This comedy really launched Carrey’s career and proved that he could command the big screen and that his brand of comedy was in demand. Later that same year Jim Carrey performed opposite Jeff Daniels in the hilarious comedy Dumb & Dumber which was his first multi-million dollar movie paycheck. Along with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Dumb & Dumber Carrey also released The Mask where he played Stanley Ipkiss. All in all 1994 was a pretty productive year for the actor. Jim Carrey was now on a roll and the film offers started coming in. In 1995 he was offered the part of The Riddler in Batman Forever where he was able to put his comedy twist on his disturbed character. Since Ace Ventura: Pet Detective was such a hit there was a follow-up which didn’t perform nearly as well titled Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. Following his Ace Ventura finale he played the socially awkward Cable Guy in The Cable Guy in 1996 which earned him a cool $20 million, which at the time was the most money ever paid to a comedy actor. Coming off the heels of two less than stellar comedy films Carrey decided to expand his acting offering and take a dramatic acting roll in the 1998 film The Truman Show. The movie, and Carrey’s performance, were both brilliant and provided an excellent step into acting in drama films. In 1999 Carrey took on the comedic roll of Andy Kaufman in the movie Man on The Moon. In 2001 Carrey revisited his dramatic acting when he took the roll of Peter Appleton in the film The Majestic. The film allowed Carrey to take on a roll that was a bit more serious than The Truman Show and proved that he could pull of the genre. It wouldn’t be long before Carrey would return to his comfort zone. In 1993 Carrey played opposite Morgan Freeman in the hilarious comedy Bruce Almighty. Jim Carrey got to play God for a week which provided him great material to accompany his comedic style. Carrey’s best dramatic performance came in in 2004 when he played Joel Barish opposite Kate Winslett in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The two created an amazing on screen pair and with the help of Michel Gondry created a fantastic world of the unconscious. The film and actors were deservedly well decorated with awards receiving 50 nominations and winning 38 awards. The remainder of the 2000’s Jim Carrey provided very entertaining performances in: Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Fun with Dick and Jane, The Number 23, Horton Hears a Who!, Yes Man, A Christmas Carol. Most recently Jim Carrey his provided his comedy in the comedy I Love You Phillip Morris. Jim Carrey is still going strong and working on the upcoming Mr. Poppers Penguins set to release in 2011. Carrey plays Mr. Popper who is a established businessman who inherits penguins and converts his Apartment into a winter wonderland. This film is directed by Mark Waters (Freaky Friday, Mean Girls) and should provide for some great comedy moments.

Joshua Ryan "Josh" Hutcherson born October 12, 1992 is an American film and television actor. He began working in the early 2000s, appearing in several minor film and television roles. He gained wider exposure with major roles in the 2005 films Little Manhattan and Zathura, the 2006 comedy RV, the 2007 family adventure film Firehouse Dog, and the film adaptations of Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. On March 30, 2008, Hutcherson won a Young Artist Award (for Leading Young Actor). Hutcherson was also featured on a Celebrity Teens edition of the hit show MTV Cribs, and is set to play Robert in the Red Dawn remake.
Hutcherson's first role was in the 2002 pilot episode, House Blend; in the same year, he appeared in an episode of ER. In 2003, he played the lead role in the comedy Miracle Dogs (which was released on Animal Planet), starred opposite Peter Falk and Timothy Daly in the made-for-television film, Wilder Days, and had a minor role in the well-reviewed independent film, American Splendor. In 2005, JoshHutcherson appeared in several Hollywood films: he had a minor role in the Will Ferrell comedy Kicking & Screaming , voiced Markl in the animated film Howl's Moving Castle (June), and played the lead roles in Little Manhattan (September) and Zathura, which was released in November to positive reviews. The following year, Hutcherson appeared in the comedy RV, playing the son of Robin Williams's character, and subsequently played Jesse Aarons in the drama Bridge to Terabithia, which was filmed in New Zealand and released on February 16, 2007, performing well critically and commercially. He had not read the novel that the film is based on before being cast in the role.
Hutcherson's next role was in Firehouse Dog (released on April 4, 2007), in which he played Shane Fahey, a firefighter's son who befriends a dog. Hutcherson filmed Firehouse Dog before Bridge to Terabithia, though the latter film was released first. His next roles were in the "very dark" independent film drama Winged Creatures, and playing the nephew of Brendan Fraser's character in Journey to the Center of the Earth, a new 3-D film version of the novel of the same name; filming on Journey, which was released on July 11, 2008, began in Montreal in June 2006 and ended in October of that year.
